Vacationing In A New City? Two Reasons To Take A Segway Tour

A great vacation is a time of relaxation, fun, and excitement. Life can get hectic when your plate is full of school, work or family and you need a chance to decompress and let the stresses slip away. If vacation time has rolled around and you're headed to a city that you've never been to before, you want to make the most of the experience. Instead of signing up for the traditional bus tour do something different this time by going on a segway tour.

See The Town From The Local Point-Of-View

Bus or trolley tours can sometimes have an impersonal feel to them. Each passenger sits on the motorized vessel while a tour guide points out a few of the more well-known spots in town. The stops are brief and usually only long enough for you to snap a picture or two. You aren't really able to truly experience the attraction and roll away from it not knowing much more about the place than you did before your arrival.

Segway tours are much more intimate than anything you may have experienced in the past. You'll have a front-row seat as you roll up to each attraction on your segway. The tour guides typically have a lot of great information about the haunts and since you will be on the ground you might even get the chance to meet a few of the local residents and strike up a conversation with them.

Also, because segways are so much smaller than buses you may be able to fit into areas that would have been off-limits to you before. Those hole-in-the-wall restaurants, bars or historic spaces could hold the kind of magic that you've always wanted to feel when you're on vacation.

Preserve Your Feet With A Segway Tour

Walking around a large city can be tough. By the end of the day, you find yourself back at the hotel, rubbing your feet and moaning because of the pain. Trying to take a walking tour could even be impossible for a few members of your party if they have foot issues.

Segway tours give you the best of both worlds. You get the beauty of a close-up perspective without doing serious damage to your feet and knees by walking.

Riding around the city on a segway can be a ton of fun. Add a segway tour to the itinerary for your upcoming vacation and have an amazing time.
